We believe that all scripture is the inspired, authoritative Word of God, and without error. It’s alive, powerful, and applicable to our everyday lives.

We believe in one personal God, who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in power, authority, and glory. He is totally loving and completely holy.

We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with him but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.

We believe Jesus is the only way to receive salvation. He paid for the penalty of our sins by his death on the cross, and gave us eternal life when he was raised from the dead. We receive forgiveness of sin and eternal salvation, by repenting of our sins and believing in the Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation cannot be earned, it is a gift we freely receive through faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe in the Holy Spirit who regenerates and indwells every believer in Jesus, assures us of our salvation, guides us into all truth, glorifies Jesus and convicts of sin, righteousness and judgment. Furthermore, we believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of all the Biblical gifts of the Spirit. These gifts empower believers for service to bring glory to God and build up the church.

We believe in the universal church, the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith in the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving him, obeying Him and bringing his good news to the world. We believe in the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for community, teaching, and prayer.

The Word of God enjoins on the Church two perpetual ordinances of the Lord Jesus Christ. The first, water baptism, is the outward sign of what God has already done in the individual’s life and is a testimony to all that the person now belongs to Jesus. Communion (The Lord’s Supper) is a commemoration of the death of the Jesus Christ and is done in remembrance of Him until He comes again; it is a sign of our participation in Him.

We believe in the personal, visible return of Christ to the earth and the establishing of His Kingdom, in the resurrection of the body, and the final judgment. We believe that our eternal destination of either heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.
