Academics Overview

Zion’s ministry and leadership school for ages 18-30. In partnership with Faith International University, we will provide Bachelors of Arts degree paths, coupled with biblical, theological, and practical ministry training. Zion U provides a training ground so that you can make an eternal impact in any sphere of life. Students will be immersed in the culture of Zion Church, grow in their biblical understanding through intentional classes, lead in different ministry tracks, and discover/develop their God-given gifts.

Inaugural Student Tuition = $2,500

The cost of tuition does not include books or any other supplies you may need to complete the course work.

Price will go up to $3,500 for the following academic year.

  • School begins the last week of August and goes through the end of April. The weekly class schedule and this year’s holiday schedule can be found on the website under Schedule.

  • Yes, our schedule allows for students to work after school or on weekends while attending.

    • Students must be 18 years of age or older.

    • $50 Application fee must be paid in full.

    • 3 Total References must be submitted: 1 Pastoral, 2 Personal.

  • Not at this time, we are not accepting international students.

  • No, Zion U is a non-accredited, non-degree-granting educational institution with the State of California. Zion U has an articulation agreement with Faith International University. This means that students who have successfully completed the first and second year Zion U are eligible to receive transferable credit toward FIU.

  • Because Zion U is non-accredited, students raise their finances by working and/or fundraising. We believe that God is more than able to provide the resources for you to attend. Seek Him about your interest in Zion U and believe that He is directing your steps and can provide the resources necessary to attend. For those who are not able to pay the full tuition by the start of the Zion U academic year, we do have a payment plan available! Speak with a member of our team for more information.
